Chapter 15

"Good now remember to hold your thumb like this. Otherwise you're gonna break it the first time you hit someone." Caprice said showing me how to hold my fist.

We were in the gym working it out all three of us were motivated for different reasons. JoJo was there for the release; Wade had been being so difficult it was ridiculous. JoJo would seem so calm and unaffected while dealing with him. As soon as Wade was gone JoJo would need to do something to release the tension. I keep thanking him for doing all this on my behalf. He tells me not to worry about it and that we're family so I shouldn't sweat it. The final leg of our tour was in California. I couldn't wait to get back to what I knew. Stores that made sense to me, accents that were understandable. For someone who's never been anywhere, I can now say that I've been all over this country. What I will miss about the south is the food. Ooh! Everything was so good!

Wade came barging in on our workout with Wally in tow. "Lewis is my client! You don't discuss anything with him without coming through me first!"

JoJo smiled he was mid-run on the treadmill. He stopped the machine and grabbed his towel. He was catching his breath as he stepped off the machine. "Chantel and Lewis discussed the project. I sent you paperwork, sign off on it and let's be done. Or, do you need to have a dramatic scene first?" JoJo said looking at Wade.

"He's not doing the song!" Wade barked

JoJo smiled again, "you're mad cause he told you he's going to and you don't want him to just to spite me."

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Wade growled.

"Nope, don't care." JoJo said nonchalantly almost laughing.

"I guess you'll find out the hard way."

As soon as Wade said that Wally reached over Wade and swung at JoJo. JoJo pushed Wally's fist away and countered with a left. You heard the hit connect with his face. Wally spit out blood while JoJo squared off. Wade walked by the door, he looked mad. Wally kept trying to come at JoJo, but JoJo was ready for everything he came with. JoJo had Wally on the ground, he told him to stop being stupid. "Alright! Alright! Uncle!" Wally yelled.

Caprice and Brandy started laughing. "If you're stupid enough to want to fight me, send yourself! How many others gotta get beat down before you learn there are other ways to handle things?" JoJo said

"Man! Let him up!" Wade said angry.

"I think you broke my nose!" Wally said as he slowly got up.

"Next time let that man fight his own battles. He sent you in here to see how I handle myself. Don't be this stupid again."

"Whatever man!"

"But you heard me!" JoJo said, "When do you ask, why he keeps sending you?"

You could see the question register as Wally walked out slowly holding his busted nose. JoJo got back on the treadmill and finished his run like nothing just happened.
